Manila, Philippines. Santos began his Career as street photographer in college. He Become Photo Correspondent in Tudla Production, Focus Taiwan(CNA), Nurphoto Agency and Bulatlat (contributor). In 2018 he started his personal documentary regarding Political Situation and Human Interest regarding In social Justice in the Philippines.
Last April 2023, Jose Santos was the main organizer for an exhibit with the theme of "Impunity and Press Freedom", showcasing works from various media practitioners and archivists in the Philippines. This was held at Silingan Coffee, Stall 09, Cubao Expo
